When I thought about my first Halloween look for 2019 I immediately knew I wanted to create something where you would be dress up for any fun party or event looking chic and classy without being too much.
This is definitely the kind of style I would go for and what it would definitely make feel comfortable on any fun party and I know a lot of you feel the same way.
I’m so excited to share more details with you after seeing your positive responses to the video tutorial I shared on Instagram.
Thin gold wire 14.5 caliber
Hair comb 3 inches
Super thin gold wire 22 caliber
1. Make sure to buy a good quality hair comb, it has to support the wire so it needs to be solid.
Otherwise halo will be flimsy and will go sideways.
2. If you have long thick hair you will need a long hair comb so it can hold your hair better. I tried a small hair comb and it was a total fail. I still wish I had an even longer one because it still felt like it was too small. Although that’s only because I have so much hair lol.
If you have short or thin hair you can use any standard size with no problem.
3. Lastly, you need to wrap the thicker wire to the hair comb with the thinner wire. By twisting it around attaching it on both ends.
1. It is crucial that you sprinkle the glitter while the glue is still hot!
2. You can make the tears on a glass surface since it is stick less. You will have a very hard time on other materials. I used a mirror and they turned out nicely best part mirror is free of damage!
3. In my look I used blue contacts from COOPERVISION blue topaz. Safe and affordable.
This look is easy to make with few materials. It’s an elegant costume with a dash of dramatic. I hope you enjoyed this one and have a nice spooky night!
Which halloween costume do you like best 2019 or 2018?
