Hey guys,

I celebrated my bday a couple of weeks ago, and more than just sharing about my celebration, I want to talk a little bit about what life has been for me – how much I’ve changed my perspective on things over the last years.

NO MORE WASTING TIME

You have no idea how many things I’ve regretted. Believe it or not, I wasted a lot of time in life and if you have gone through that, then you know the guilt of looking back to the past just to see how much we could have done while we could and we didn’t.

Even though mistakes made me lose time, it made me wiser. I’m rushing a little bit more but regardless, I am a lot happier because I know what direction I want to go NOW. At the of the day, that’s what matters most.

Truth is that sometimes we have to get lost to find ourselves.

Now I treasure every second of my life and I’m a better version of me after all the mistakes I made.

MY CONFIDENCE GROWING UP

It’s incredible how much confidence I’ve gotten throughout the years. During my teenage years, I lacked confidence very much lol. I grew up in a rigorous family so I basically would go to school, come back home, and never go out of my house again.

That affected me while growing up as everybody was talking about current events or trends that I wasn’t exploring yet. So I didn’t have much of a conversation because I would just be at home with my family all the time.

But after 19 my life began lol. I started to go out more with friends, explore around, and then I got to travel for the first time alone. Things took off from there, and let me tell you, my innocence made me to go through some embarrassing moments in my life.

I laugh every time I look back. I’ve confronted all my fears and insecurities while being out there alone in the world.

I got so much stronger and gained a lot of confidence in myself!

SELF ACCEPTANCE

Tv commercials, beauty pageants, posting videos and being in the social media world has made me accept who I am more than any other thing that I did in my life before.

I remember I would watch my tv commercials and cringe lol. Now I honestly have learned to accept the way I am from my worst faces to getting the perfect angles, (I watch them especially while editing my videos) and I don’t even care anymore.

I know there’s always going to be a prettier girl than me and what matters the most is our confidence and attitude. That is what makes us look beautiful and stand out from the rest. We need to learn to love the world and ourselves, so that it can shine very brightly to all those around us that matter the most.

Sometimes we judge ourselves too much and I have learned through you and your constant feedback that there are a lot of things that are just happening in my mind and that we have to judge us less and accept us more.

What kind of teenager struggles did you have?

Take care of yourselves my loves,

 SHERRY
